Green Shield Canada have announced some updates to their travel benefits under their extended health plans. They will now provide emergency medical coverage for Covid-19, anywhere in the world for trips up to your plan maximum number of days, including during the government travel advisory regarding Covid-19. Please check your plan details to confirm the number of days your plan allows you to travel.
The new policy regarding Covid-19 comes into effect for travellers departing After August 15, 2020 and expires June 30, 2021.
