This plan is Individual Medically Underwritten plan which means that the insurance company asks more specific medical questions and evaluates them to come up with the premium
Up to $5,000,000 CND for medical expenses including COVID-19 if fully vaccinated
If not vaccinated:
Up to $1,000,000 CND for medical expenses related to COVID-19.
Up to $5,000,000 CND for medical expenses not related to COVID-19.
Additional Trip interruption Benefits if your trip in interrupted due COVID-19 provided your trip is 31 days or longer
No Additional Eligibility questions for COVID-19 Coverage
If Fully Vaccinated – Up to $5,000,000 CAD of covered expenses incurred by you for treatment required by you during your trip if your medical emergency is related to COVID-19 and related complications.
If NOT Fully Vaccinated – Up to $1,000,000 CAD of covered expenses incurred by you for treatment required by you during your trip if your medical emergency is related to COVID-19 and related complications.
Interruption for Trips 31 days or Longer
If You are quarantined:
Up to $500 for one-way economy to return home in the event your are delayed behind your originally scheduled return
Up to $150 for additional meals and accommodation to a max of $2,100(Family Plan Maximums are $300 per day for a total of $4,200)
Deductible options available for savings:
$500 deductible saves 10%
$1,000 deductible saves 15%
$5,000 deductible saves 30%
$10,000 deductible saves 35%
Single Trip Coverage
Top-up rates based on total number of days away, including days already covered by Multi-Trip Annual Plan or Other Coverage. Rates based on age at booking.
No minimum policy fee.
No age restrictions.
Changes Prior to Effected Date:
Dates can be changed up until Effective Date
Policies can be cancelled up until Effective Date
No change or cancellation fees
Refunds for Returning Early:
Subject to no claims being made against your policy
Refund amount minimum $25 per Policy

For accidents, injury or sickness – coverage Includes ambulance transportation, hospital accommodation and care, diagnostic testing, physician and nursing services, surgery, medical supplies, equipment and medication
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions:
Covered for those condition that have been listed on the Medical Underwriting Agreement
Emergency Return Home:
If your treating physician(s) insurance company’s medical advisor(s) recommends that you return home because/after of your emergency
Repatriation of Remains:
$5,000 to have the remains returned if you should pass away while you are away.
Return of Companion:
If your are returned via emergency return home or repatriation benefit , we will return your travel companion if they are insured under the same company
Accidental Dental Coverage:
Up to $3,000 if you suffer an accidental blow to the mouth
Up to $300 if you require relief of dental pain
Up to $3,000 charged by a commercial agency to bring your vehicle home.
Meals, Hotel and Taxi:
If an Emergency prevents you from returning as planned the insurance company will pay up $200 per day up to $2000 for extra meals hotel and taxi fares
Up to 72 hours for Delay of Common Carrier or Vehicle
If you or traveling companion are hospitalized
Up to 5 days Medical Emergency that prevents you from departing on schedule
All benefits must be pre-approved by the insurance company by calling the phone number provided on the confirmation of insurance/Wallet Card provided upon the purchase of the policy.
In an emergency and prior to seeking medical assistance it is extremely important that you call the insurance company assistance centre phone number located on your wallet card before seeking treatment, or as soon as you are physically able.
