Retiree Plans
- You must be between the ages 55 & 70 and retiring from a Group Employer Benefit Plan
- Three coverage options available: Standard, Basic or Accident
- Accidental Death Benefit included in all plans
- Standard Plan is the most robust option, includes coverage for medical equipment, hearing aids, prescription drugs, ambulance, hospital, dental, vision and practitioner services, counselling services and offers coverage for travel outside of Canada
- Basic Plan offers comprehensive coverage that includes ambulance, hospital, accidental dental, prescription drug coverage, some practitioner services, hearing aids, medical equipment and preventative dental and also covers travel within Canada
- Accident Plan includes only coverage for ambulance, hospital and accidental dental
