Plan Highlights
  • Coverage for Extended Healthcare Benefits such as Medical Supplies, Hearing Aids, Vision Care, Registered Specialists and Therapists and other Extended Health Care Services
  • Guaranteed Issue-Will provide coverage for pre-existing medical conditions and prescriptions.
  • Prescription drugs – 80% to a plan maximum of $2,500 per year
  • $500 maximum in paid expenses per year for the following: prescription birth control drugs, flash glucose sensors, oral erectile dysfunction drugs, smoking cessation drugs and aids (up to a lifetime maximum of $300), medical marijuana, intra-uterine devices (IUDs) and diaphragms, anti-obesity drugs, vaccines
  • Emergency Medical Travel: Outside of Canada – $5,000,000 per person, maximum 10 days per trip, 9-month stability, Coverage ceases at age 70
  • TELUS Health Virtual Care— included in your plan is unlimited 24/7 access to healthcare professionals, clinical screening, mental health assessments, prescription refills and more
