Benefit Details
Emergency Medical Coverage: Emergency Medical Coverage for accidents, injury or sickness – Includes ambulance transportation costs, hospital accommodation and care, out patient treatment, diagnostic testing, physician and nursing services, surgery, medical supplies, equipment and medication up to maximum sum insured.
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions: Coverage for pre-existing conditions is available if your condition meets the following criteria:

  1. Under 59: Any pre-existing condition stable stable for 90 days before your effective date.
  2. 60 – 79: Pre-existing conditions stable for 180 days before your effective date EXCEPT Heart, Stroke/Mini-Stroke, which must be approved in writing using the detailed medical questionnaire .
  3. 80 to 89: All pre-existing conditions must be approved in writing using the detailed medical questionnaire .
Paramedical services:: Expenses for the use of Chiropodist, podiatrist, physiotherapist(when ordered by a the attending physician), chiropractor, or osteopath and acupuncturist to a maximum of $500 per profession.
Accidental Dental Coverage: Expenses for the repair or replacement of natural teeth or permanently attached artificial teeth necessitated by an accidental blow to the mouth, to a maximum of $4,000 per person and up to $500 for the relief of Dental pain.
Repatriation of Remains: If you should pass away while in Canada, the expenses for either the preparation and transportation of your remains to a maximum of $10,000 per person, or the expense of cremation or burial at the place of death, to a maximum of $4,000
